Mike Story

Install Manager

Mike Story is our Install Manager, bringing 18 years of hands-on HVAC and plumbing experience to the Horsetooth team. After nearly two decades in the trade, there is practically nothing he hasn't seen, fixed, or installed. He oversees our installation crew and makes sure every furnace, AC, and heat pump goes in clean and works exactly like it should.

You will rarely find Mike sitting behind a desk all day. He spends most of his time out on job sites across Northern Colorado, working right alongside our installers, troubleshooting tricky setups, and jumping in whenever an extra set of hands is needed. Having a manager who can actually build the system himself keeps our standards high and our projects moving forward.

Around the shop, Mike is the guy keeping everyone laughing. He brings a lot of humor to the team, keeps morale high during the busy summer and winter rushes, and makes sure nobody takes themselves too seriously. He is a major part of our crew, and we are glad to have him running our installs.
