Learn About the Dogs

Frankie
Hello - my name is Frankie! I'm from Texas and guessed to be a 2 yr old Lab / Cattle Dog mix and around 68 lbs. I am a handsome pup with lots of energy, hoping to find my furever home in Colorado! I love to run and play ball and would do best with a big fenced yard and an outgoing family willing to spend time training with me and include me on adventures. I'm confident, kinda selective about my dog-friends (does best with submissive females), and also a quick learner - especially if you have hot dogs. Sure would be great if you could come by Windsor and meet me!

Nobie
Robi (also known as Noble) is guessed to be a 7 yr old Great Dane. He loves to play with his people, and once he trusts you, he follows you everywhere. He is kind and sweet and mature. He likes other dogs, and would do best with older kids, or in an adult home.
If you think you can give a good and loving retirement home to this sweet, Dane, apply today!

Bruno aka buddy
This affectionate lil pooch is Bruno, an approximately 12 yr old Maltese/Shih Tzu mix, around 20 lbs. He is a sweet dog who loves cuddles, car rides, and just spending time with his person(s). When out on the town, he happily walks by your side and is happy to sit next to you with a huge smile.

Conan
Conan loves his people, because of his disability he is limited on activities. But he still lives a full life. He loves to explore the yard and laying in the sun. He loves car rides and he loves playing with people. Conan does ok with other dogs. But he would be best to be a only dog. Conan has his funny moments were he does zummies.

Dottie
Dottie is guessed to be a 1-2 yr old Black and Tan Coonhound and is ready to be loved!
This stunning girl is shy at first, but is learning how good it is to be loved on by humans. Due to never being socialized or being in a loving home, she will do best with a confident canine buddy in her future home and a VERY patient adopter. She absolutely loves to play with other dogs. She is house trained and crate trained. She needs a patient and loving home to show her how good life can be as a beloved family member. If you have a warm snuggle lap and love to give, she is the right dog for you! She will need her safe place kennel and a small play yard around the kennel to begin with while you spend time in her safe area helping her to get used to you and her new surroundings. She will also need a 5-6 foot fenced yard and preferably being slowing walked in the yard on a leash until she gains confidence with you and her new life. She would do okay if an adopter lived in a very quiet neighborhood and did not have a fence but with the scared dogs it is best to teach them to walk in your house and then in your fenced yard to help them learn to trust you and their new environment.
