Horsetooth Heating & Air Service Agreement Terms
Warranty on Service Work
At Horsetooth Heating & Air, we stand behind the quality of our work. All repair services are backed by a one-year labor warranty, in accordance with Colorado law, which requires contractors to perform work in a workmanlike manner consistent with industry standards.
If a part we install fails within the manufacturer’s warranty period, the manufacturer’s warranty covers the cost of the failed part only. Labor required to diagnose, remove, and replace that part is not included under manufacturer warranty, but may be covered by Horsetooth Heating & Air’s labor warranty if still within the one-year term.
If the failure is due to workmanship, Horsetooth Heating & Air will correct the issue at no cost to you during the warranty period.
Cancellation & Refund Policy
- Customers may cancel their maintenance agreement at any time.
- If cancellation occurs before any maintenance or service visits have been performed during the current agreement year, the plan will be refunded in full.
- If cancellation is requested after a maintenance or service visit has been completed, the refund will be issued minus the standard cost of services already rendered.
- If the value of completed services exceeds the payments received, a balance due will be billed to the customer and is payable upon receipt.
Exclusions & Limitations
- Normal wear and tear, misuse, neglect, lack of maintenance, or damage caused by outside events (such as power surges, flooding, or third-party work) are not covered.
- Consumable items (such as filters, pads, or canisters) are covered only when included in your selected maintenance agreement.
- Manufacturer warranties apply to covered parts; labor is not included under manufacturer warranty and is the responsibility of the customer unless otherwise covered by Horsetooth Heating & Air’s labor warranty.
